	Introduction
Star Rating: Converted with great attention to detailsfrom the 15th century Palazzo Medici dal Borgo, which is preserved by the Commission of Fine Arts, the hotel is located in the heart of Florence, within sight of Santa Maria Novella Church. The building has undergone extensive renovation with great care given to even the smallest detail so that, although an airier lighter tone has been introduced, the original charm has been maintained. The high vaulted ceilings and historic frescoes together with the original flooring, recently brought to light in the main hall and living area, enhance the historic architecture. A small secluded garden, in which breakfast and drinks are served among tuscan terracotta and lemon trees, creates an inviting and relaxing atmosphere. An added touch are the evening complimentary lectures on art and history of Florence presented by a professor of the University of Florence. Impeccable service and a warm friendly atmosphere combine to make our guests’ stay in Florence especially enjoyable.
